Risa Forrester is the Director of People and Marketing at Evans & Davis. She supports the firm’s human resources, workplace culture, marketing, and operations efforts.
She is committed to compassionate communication, leadership, and workplace belonging. She believes strategic communication impacts organizational culture in powerful and positive ways.
Risa is formerly a strategic consultant for communication and public relations. Before joining Evans & Davis, she was VP at Nominee, a strategic brand studio. Risa spent 25 years in higher education serving in various roles, including Chief Communications Officer and Vice President for Admissions and Marketing. As a public relations professional advising senior leaders, she has led teams responsible for internal and external communication, recruiting, branding, and marketing.
She has a bachelor's degree in communication and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in leadership.
When she's not at Evans and Davis, you’ll find Risa curled up with a great book, at sporting events and concerts with her husband, or hanging out in the woodshop with her favorite creator – her 20-year old son.
